Brief:

Interpret the theme of The Lancet’s monthly HIV journal, to create a years’ worth of cover illustrations.

Solution:

While the topic of HIV may on the onset seem glum, vibrant colours and detailed linework helped add beauty to the subjects’ exploration. This resulted in a set of magazine covers that were attractive to new and old readers, while being both thoughtful and thought-provoking.
