Brief:

Create an editorial illustration for The New York Times Book Review, based on the novel “Radiant Fugitives” by Nawaaz Ahmed.

Solution:

Work with the Art Director to understand the essence of the narrative, and then create a set of three draft sketches for the team to choose from. Use feedback given to guide the final piece, resulting in a powerful, interpretive editorial illustration to rouse reader interest.
